Halloweenie

Halloween was Great, Kate totally knew what was going on, she was running door to door. Evelyn on the other hand wasn't that interested, But By Next year she will be so game! I already decided the girls are gonna be a lady bug and bumble bee next year. We let them Stay up and eat candy until they couldn't stay up any longer! My favorite holiday is over, Cant wait till next year!

Pimps and Hoes....

Well Bos Birthday Was Oct4th - we had a Pimps and Hos themed party, Which WAS SO FUN!! I love making everyone dress up!

ASPEN OH ASPEN

Okay so totally off track - Butt... lol We rented a car while Bo's grandparents were here, I AM IN LOVE WITH IT. I have changed my mind from wanting the smaller Crossover, I want the 2008 Chrysler Aspen, Its got the flex fuel and its got the 3rd row I am desperately craving. Let me share some pics with you. I should have taken some of the rental we had but didn't, So here are some from online. BTW - These things are like $32,000 So I will be trading in the Audi.. Bo can get himself a truck... and EVERYONE IS HAPPY! LOL Even Kate Liked the SUV. She was like "this is Kate's Car!" telling everyone that passed us by :)

Turtle Bay

So once every few months Bo's unit has a Marriage retreat at the Resort on North Shore. This was our frist time actaully being able to go to one. There used to be a Show on the WB called North Shore. It was taped in the resort we stayed in. Its AWESOME. We went for One night, You Go on a Thursday/Friday Stay and Bo gets to get out of work and its free, and you cant be a free night in a Resort. So The Nighttime came around and we watched the sunset and had one drink at the bar, we were both so wiped out we went up to our room and climbed in separate beds to watch the news. We passed out in our separate beds. Were on a RETREAT~ and were in separate beds. LOL The next Morning I got up and there was a MONK SEAL on the beach, Bo originally thought it was a homeless man, because from the 5th floor looking down it looked like a blanket on the beach not a seal. Because at first he goes, "that's a homeless Man wrapped up", and so I pulled out the video camera and zoomed in, and he said all cocky like - "DUH that's a seal.." (Like he knew the whole time, lol) So we through our clothes on and headed down. It was really amazing to be so close to something so protected here On the Islands. They don't want ANYONE messing with these animals. So it was cool to actually get to look at one, We kept our distance though. I didn't want want him thinking i was trying to invade his space. the girls stayed with our friends, and apparently had a wonderful time. :)

Evelyns 1st Birthday

Well So Much has been going on since i last posted. I spent a good amout of time getting things together for Bos Grandparents to come visit. Then Hurricane Ike hit Houston and Delayed their trip by 2 weeks. Evelyns Birthday was On Sept 19th. My sweet little girl is one, I cant belive it. She is walking and jibber jabbin all over the place. Kate was SO excited to help me decorate for Evies birthday party. We went to party City together to pick up balloons, I popped one when i was trying to load them into the trailblazer, Kate yelled! "MOM!!! WHAT HAPPENED!???!" I looked at her and with a staright face said, "Mom almost peed herself.." lol She went home and told Daddy "Mommy Peepeed in her Panties. No be Mad!!!" Haha too cute for her own good! M.I.A.

I haven't posted in a while - Bo has had extra duty and I see him maybe 30 mins everyday. Including the weekends. I have been trying to keep myself SUPER busy to help keep my mind of the fact hes not around. I webcamed with Drew in Iraq today which was a great way to start my day. I cant wait till he is home and I don't worry about him all the time. He is Bo's brother. he should be done in Iraq in January 2009. Which is SO CLOSE! As soon as our visit at Christmas is over he will be back. I usually go on a walk but today I have been super lazy. I really need to get out of the house. I think tomorrow I am going to walk up to Goodwill and see if I can find anything cool. These are some pics of the path we Walk on Alongside Pearl Harbor. It goes right behind a lot of stores and Parks, Including goodwill.

I have been spending the month of August pretty much with Courtney. Her husband is gone also so we have been spending pretty much every single day together. She is one of the only things out here I will miss when we leave. She is like my Best Friend/Sister. Her kids are my kids practically. We have been taking walks and pulling the pool out in the back yard and letting them go crazy with it. We try to wear them out completely, which makes bath and bed time a breeze :)

GREEK FEST

So We went to the Greek fest yesterday In Ala Moana beach park. It was fun, Not as Big as I expected it to be, But then again I am sure the Greek population In Hawaii is not that large. We headed up there (Courtney, I and Kiddos) We walked pretty much the whole beach trying to find the place we needed to be. When we did find it they let us in for free. Which was awesome , it pays to be military sometimes. Well we walked in and grabbed a beer. Because it was hotter than hell out there. We Parked our strollers up by the Stage in the Shade and let the kiddos down. I don't know what Greek Music is called or how to explain it but its very bouncy.. lol I put Evelyn down on the floor and she walked to the front of the stage, It was so cute the People with the band and just random people were taking pics of her. Kate and I had a Gyro, She only wanted the Pita Bread, Which was fine with me I was starved. We stayed for about 2 hours and loaded back up and headed home. It was something we wanted to try and now we can say we did. I think I am more excited about Oktoberfest. It is going to be at a bigger venue and I can actually go with Bo. He should be off of Extra duty on the 14Th of September -So we will see.
